Robert Frost~The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth.

Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same.

And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.

這一首Frost的詩是我在美國時候念到的、那時後沒有甚麼特別感覺、只是下課後、想說要去哪裡、然後看看世界各國來的學生。但是最近我在Janet的書裡看到這些話、我發現我也喜歡走比較少人走的路。別人都看得電影沒什麼好看、別人要去台電、我就先出國去看看吧、爬山總想要走自己找出來的小徑。但是我發現有一點很難克服、就是別人喜歡的女生、我還是會喜歡、無法抗拒阿。
